Our Staff

You will find our staff friendly, courteous and professional. We will endeavour to provide you with practical, common-sense advice.

We enjoy a close working relationship will all other Local Authority departments, so if we do not know the answer, we will usually know someone who does.

Customer Support

  • All letters will be acknowledged within 5 working days from receipt
  • Acknowledge any complaints within 5 working days
  • Answer all telephone calls promptly
  • A surveyor will be available during the working day in person or via the telephone to answer any questions
  • We will be happy to arrange timed meetings at our offices if required

Building Regulation Service

  • Acknowledge receipt of a Full Plans application within 5 working days
  • Acknowledge receipt of a Building Notice within 5 working days
  • Carry out site inspections on the same day if booked before 10am. Although we cannot offer timed appointments, we will endeavour an AM or PM slot.
  • Issue Completion Certificates within 10 working days of a satisfactory completion visit
  • No limit on the number of inspections we can make to site.
